Panelist: Scott Ferreira -Scott Ferreira is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of MySocialCloud. Scott launched MySocialCloud while a student at USC and was able to close an angel round of $1mm which included investors such as Sir Richard Branson (all started out with Scott reaching out with a tweet). Before MySocialCloud, Scott was involved with co-founding a non-profit called Open Table (www.theopentable.org), where he still serves on the Executive Board as an advisor. Panelist: Edo Cohen- Edo Cohen is President of SeeVolution.com, a company that develops website heatmap analtyics. Before SeeVolution, Edo was a co-founder of Flipswap.com, a major technology player in electronic recycling. With clients that include AT&T, Best Buy, Target and Nokia, Flipswap was awarded spot #81 on the 2009 INC 500 list with 1,839.7% growth between 2005-2008. Edo’s current company, SeeVolution, builds technology that overlays live website heatmaps that illustrate areas of high and low user activity. The technology let’s website owners increase conversion rates on website by checking user behaviors. Edo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Colorado, where he was president of his University’s student body, managing their annual budget of $24 million. Panelist: Nicholas Smoot- Nick Smoot is cofounder and CMO of Here On Biz, the instant business networking app. Here On Biz, after eight weeks of being available to the public, had downloads from business professionals in over 23 countries, received press from Forbes, Inc Magazine, entrepreneur magazine, and the co-founder of LinkedIn uses it actively. The Acquisition of Toor.me landed him in the seat of executive director of business development and the task of building key relationships with Bank of America, Ally bank, Hearst Corporation, Realogy, and Brookfield. Prior to Toor.me, Smoot spent eight years consulting in both the profit and non-profit worlds focusing on answers to complex business development problems for both small and large organizations - corporations including Subaru, Tom’s Shoes, ASPPB, and many others.
